So hopefully the majority of people would have played through Portal 2 by now, for those who haven’t well it’s now your own fault. The stand-out characters in the game are obviously Wheatly and Cave Johnson, two rather comedic characters with some very memorable lines and it got me thinking: what memorable lines have there been from games?

Here are a few of my favourite one liners:

Portal, GLaDOS:

Two plus two is… [static]… Ten! IN BASE 4! I’M FINE!”

Portal 2, Cave Johnson:

“I’M THE MAN WHO’S GOING TO BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN… WITH THE LEMONS!”

Claptrap, Borderlands:

“Look at me! I’m Dancin’ I’m Dancin’!”

Trainer, Pokémon:

“Our eyes met, we must battle.”

Sir Walter Beck, Fable 3:

“[Shouting into an echoey cave] Balls!”

Gordon Freeman, Half Life series:

“…”
