Panorama Addendum

Well it seems my opinion of BBC’s Panorama has gone even further down. The documentary on game addiction strategically put on the release night of World of Warcraft’s expansion I thought was rather devious, but I have just discovered that before the world cup bid for the UK Panorama put on a documentary about FIFA corruption. This isn’t something i would normally care about but it does raise an important issue: Did they put on a documentary about game addiction for the sole purpose of coinciding with Blizzard’s release? Are they just trying to grab ratings by purposefully causing controversy at the same time as other major media events in order to get attention? Well personally it seems all to convenient that this happened twice in a row. Would also explain the questionable production quality of the addiction to games show.
